What We Believe

With locations throughout Illinois and Indiana, Super Pantry is more than a chain of convenience stores. The Super Pantry trademark represents cleanliness, a professional staff, quality brand-name products, and of course, convenience.

In fact, we are constantly finding new ways to offer convenience to both our employees and customers. That’s why many Super Pantry stores have tie-ins with national fast food chains, including Subway, Quizno's, Jimmy John's, McDonald's, Arby's, and Dairy Queen. Plus, we have a state-of-the-art electronic payment system with a range of payment options.

At Super Pantry, we're making things more convenient for you!

History

Tri Star Marketing, Inc.—the corporation behind Super Pantry—began as the Russell Stewart Oil Company in 1947. Russell G. Stewart, a farmer from Chenoa, Illinois, started the company by selling fuel to rural and commercial customers.

As the business began to grow, Russell added retail gasoline stations. To help establish the stations, they were affiliated with major oil company brands such as Texaco, Phillips 66, and eventually Gulf.

When Gulf withdrew from branded marketing in Illinois, Russell and his son Dean dropped the major oil company affiliations and sold gasoline as an independent. Originally called Stewart Stations and Stewart Stores, the company's convenience stores are now known as Super Pantry.

In 1989, the corporation changed its name to Tri Star Marketing, Inc. to better describe its diverse operating divisions. In 1993, the corporation entered into franchise agreements with BP and Exxon Mobil to exclusively sell their motor fuels at all Super Pantry locations.

Today, with more than 500 employees and Super Pantry locations throughout Illinois and Indiana, Tri Star Marketing, Inc. continues to grow into the future.
