Super Pantry has become one of the leading contributors in the local Coaches Vs. Cancer fund drive. Coaches Vs. Cancer has raised more than $40 million for the American Cancer Society since 1993. In 2008, Super Pantry raised $102,600. We were challenged in 2009 to raise $110,000. Scott Burnsmeier of the American Cancer Society agreed to shave his head if we raised $110,000. Not wanting Scott to be lonely, our CEO and President, Jon Stewart, volunteered to join him in the challenge. Our campaign ended on February 28, 2009, raising a whopping $120,000! On March 10, Jon presented Coach Weber with a check for $120,000, then the head shaving began!

So, in 2010 we were challenged to raise $130,000. With the help of our amazing store employees, as well as our very supportive customers, we were able to raise a total of $171,582, beating last year's total by over $50,000! Congratulations to all the stores and their customers for their hard work and effort in creating awareness for this great program! Since participating in the program, Super Pantry has donated nearly $695,000 to the American Cancer Society. Visit the Coaches Vs. Cancer website to learn more.
